William J. Hopper (Executive Director - London) has been an international investment banker for over 35 years. He began his career as a financial analyst at W.R. Grace & Co. (New York), and ultimately became a member of the Boards of Directors of Hill Samuel (London) and Morgan Grenfell (London). He launched the first public Eurobond issue for an East European country (Hungary); pioneered the Dragon Bond Market in East Asia (Institutional Investor Deal of the Year, 1976); and represented Greater Manchester West in the first elected European Parliament.
He has done business in most developed countries, and holds an M.A. degree with First Class Honours in French and Spanish from Glasgow University, Scotland. Mr. Hopper lives in London.
